Discerning the Spirit in Culture: Toward Pentecostal Interculturality

Néstor Medina

Abstract

In view of the ethnocultural diversity among Pentecostals, in this article I argue that Pentecostalism in Canada ought to undergo a structural and theological reconfiguration that reflects more truly its plural-cultural constituency. Along the lines of theology, other cultural groups’ theological horizons and epistemologies ought to become part of the theological education for Pentecostal ministers, in order to become more culturally competent in the diverse context of Canada.
